Summary:Schools out and its finally the summer holidays,but Greg Heffley seems to be no where in sight. So where is he?Inside his house, playing video games, with the curtains drawn, as always. But his mum has other ideas. Shes convinced that this will be th "best summer ever" and shes planed a whole lot of family activitys. How will Greg get out of this one? Response: I think that this was a great book, and I would definitly recomend reading it. I do think it started a bit boring, but it did get better, then dropped away at the end.

He's big, he's green and he's the only thing standing between London( and the world) and a vicious swarm nano-bots! Tim( or Tyrannosaur:improved model) is a T-rex that has been hatched from an egg that was found deep inside the Amazon, and when the funding that was keeping him alive was cut he escaped from his concrete cage(under Trafalgar Square) and ran. Ran to the ocean where his prodecesser,The Kraken(the giant squid), telles him he must save the world from total obliteration.But what is going to try and conquer the world? A giant swarm Profeser Edward Mallahide, a nano scientist who has completly lost it, and the only thing that can hurt the"Mallahide Swarm" is pure light. But we don't know that. Tim does, though. And if every one concentrates real hard and belives in him, then Tim can breath light.Will Tim do it, or will he fail and get consumed by the evil mass of machines?
Response: Best. Book. Ever. Nearlly. It's totally wicked. Great plot, vocab and everything, but thats just me. Read it and you'll see what I mean.
Book: Walking with Beasts Author: Tim Haines Genre: Fiction/Info Rating:5/5
The dinosaurs. All extinct. But what came after? The mammals. Small,fury mammals.That and giant killer birds,and weird whales that look like crotters(crocodile otter). This book brings together the epic T.V series Walking with Beasts, and completely explains what Smilodons use their saber teeth for, or what wanted to kill the earliest apes that walked upright.
Response: My favorite book. Perfect research tool for those studying the ancient world of mammals. Not a story book, but still a book. It also has great pictures to help under stand whats going on. Only has 6 chapters, though(big ones,at that). Book:Footroot Flats: Weekenders Colection Author:Murray Ball Genre: Comedy Rating: 4/5 Footroot Flats is an origanl kiwi comic that used to be published in the Saturday and Sunday paper, and then when they decided to stop running them, they made them into books and this is a colection of the best ones from the Weekenders books 1,2,3 and 4. Features The Dog, Wal and others.
Response: This is possably the best Footroot flats book thatI have read. It does get really boring after reading it a lot of times, though.

Tom is back in another adventure! After rescuing his father from the evil wizard Malvel, he is faced with the daunting task of defeating Creta, a giant devilish beetle that is comprised of tiny black cockroaches called Stabiors. After becomeing infected with Stabior eggs, Tom must travel to the Mountains of Mist, where the Spring of life is located. The Spring's water is also the one thing that can destroy Creta. Will Tom defeat the new beast, or is the great land of Avantia fall under the mighty claw of Creta the winged terror! Response: This is definitly the best Beast Quest book. Fritti Tailchaser is a ginger tom cat, one born of rare courage and curiosity. Born into the world that Meerclar Allmother made for them, he is a relatively good hunter,and is about to be thrust into the spectacular world of adventure. Along with his friends, Thinbone, a dark cream colured cat with dark stripes, and Hushpad, a gray female cat, which Tailchaser has known since kittenhood. Little does the tremendous cat know, the stupendous world of adventure is filled with terrible danger.
First Fritti must jornuey through the Old Woods, where he is attacked by a pack of homocideal squirrels, then, after picking up the excitabel Pouncequick, the determind douo must travel across Greenhill plains, and with the help of a mad tom called Eatbugs, must cross the the tremendously, terrible Tailwiend river. After a long trip across Sunsnest plains, they meet with the son of the Queen of cats, Prince Fencewalker. The prince esscorts them to Firsthome, where the legendary Court of Harar is located. At Tailchaser's hearing at the Court, he learns of a terrible demon cat.
